About the Author

Verona Pentony is an author and poet whose work has received considerable attention since her first published work, Reflections from the Heart, in 2012. This was followed by Reflections of Time in 2014.

Born the middle child of six children, she was educated as a boarder in the Ursuline Convent, Sligo and later, at Loretto Abbey, Rathfarnham. She currently lives in north County Dublin.
Verona Pentony is a poet with a love of humanity and of nature: a love nurtured and distilled from her earliest childhood experiences, growing up on a farm in north Co. Dublin and from summer holidays in Co. Leitrim.

She also has a keen interest in travel and is fortunate, due to the nature of her family’s business, to have had the opportunity to visit many countries.

Reflections from the Heart is her first published collection of poems. She wrote Love Me, For Me while on holiday in Los Suenos, Costa Rica. Footsteps on Sandpiper Beach was written in Stuart, Florida, USA. She also wrote whilst in London and more recently, in Dublin.

With her outgoing, bubbly personality; she is a true people person at heart. She is inspired by the experiences of life – her own and other peoples'.
