Stones in My Bones: Mystical Connections with the Ancient Stories of Rockabill by Patricia Langton
Stones in My Bones is a book about connection to place and self.
Patricia tells the ancient stories of Rockabill Island and shares how they reflect key events in her own life and in the world. This book show how timeless these ancient stories are and the power that they have to make sense of contemporary life.
The mythology of Rockabill tells of the great Goddess Boann, Áed of the Tuatha De Danann and Balor, the Formorian sun god. The stories of the sacred quartz stones are uncovered. So too are the voices of the ancient shining ones, ‘The Sídhe’, who reside there.
This is a heroine’s journey, that travels from the deepest well to the highest star as it spirals and moves from this world to the Otherworld.
